People's Choice Awards: "Reinvention" Due to Strike

The WGA strike is affecting the People's Choice Awards - big time! First, there will be no red carpet. Why? Because the show won't be live this year. It will be taped and aired later on CBS. There will be no "and the winner is" followed by acceptance speeches; instead it will be a magazine-show format with pre-taped comments from the winners. Will the Golden Globes be next?
