Eight more members of the US military were killed in Iraq since last week's Real Hero Thursday. The latest to be confirmed is Sgt. Michael R. Sturdivant of Conway, Arkansas. Sgt. Sturdivant died Jan. 22 in Kirkuk, Iraq of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident during convoy operations. Sgt. Sturdivant was assigned to the 431st Civil Affairs Battalion, U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC. He was 20 years old.
