Rumors of trouble in Madonna's marriage to film director Guy Richie have been on the upswing as of late. Richie is rumored to have also hired a lawyer.

Britney Back on the VMA's?
Sources at MTV are saying Britney Spears may be making another comeback at the network's annual VMA Awards. Her effort last year was a creative disaster but a ratings bonanza, so it's very possible MTV would want her back for another round. Heather Locklear Seeks Treatment for Depression
Heather Locklear has entered an Arizona medical facility for treatment of depression and anxiety. Locklear, 46, best known for her roles on TV's Melrose Place and Dynasty, divorced rocker Richie Sambora last year. We wish her a speedy and full recovery.

Disney Plans "Camp Rock" Sequel
Just days after premiering on television, Disney has ordered a sequel to the tween TV movie, Camp Rock. The movie, which stars the Jonas Brothers, scored 8.9 million viewers on Friday night. Expect Camp Rock 2 to start production in spring of 2009.

George Carlin Dead at 71
Comedian George Carlin, best known for his famous "filthy words" routine, died of heart failure in a Los Angeles hospital on Sunday. Carlin's last HBO special will premiere on Saturday. George Carlin was 71.

Amy Winehouse's Dad: Amy Has Lung Damage
Mitch Winehouse told London's newspaper The Daily Mirror today that his daughter, singer Amy Winehouse, is suffering from damaged lungs due to abuse from smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine. He went on to say that Winehouse is in early stages of emphysema and will be forced to wear an oxygen mask unless she stops smoking crack.

The new issue of People hits the stands today proclaiming Mario Lopez as the "Hottest Bachelor." Jamie Lynn Spears Delivers Baby Girl
Jamie Lynn Spears delivered a healthy baby girl this morning at the Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi. The 17 year old sister of Britney Spears and her boyfriend Casey Aldridge have named their daughter Maddie Briann. We'd like to give a special shout out to Jamie Lynn and Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne, for keeping us so busy this year covering their children's antics.

Joan Rivers Drops F Bomb on Live UK Show
Joan Rivers shocked British talk show hosts (and viewers) today when she described Russell Crowe as a *f*****g piece of s**t. While Joan prefaced the comment with "and get ready to bleep this," she was unaware that ITV's Loose Women is totally live, with no censor. Joan was asked to leave during the commercial break, and left without incident. She later released a statement apologizing for her language.
