Dumb as a Box of Rocks (or Stones)

By now everyone has heard Sharon Stone's comments on the Chinese earthquake tragedy. Stone now says she is "deeply sorry" for her comments in which she said the earthquake that killed hundreds of thousands of people might have been a result of "karma" due to the Chinese government's policy on Tibet. Is she sorry for what she said, or sorry because she's been dropped from Christian Dior advertisements in China. Or is it because her films have been banned from being shown in one of China's largest theater chains? Or is it because China's Xinhua News Agency said in a commentary that she is a "public enemy of all mankind?" Or is she as dumb as a box of rocks. You be the judge. But seriously, how would the average American feel if a Chinese actress had gone on television and said that Hurricane Katrina was a result of "karma" due to the Bush administration's policies? For anyone who hasn't seen Sharon Stone's comments, see below. Savor it. It may be the last time we see her on film in a long, long time.

On December 18th she was indicted by a Pima County, Arizona judge on charges of kidnapping, armed robbery, aggravated robbery, and two accounts of assault with a deadly weapon.

She, along with three men, allegedly held her ex-boyfriend captive for ten hours on December 8th. The man was also alegedly bitten by Fulbright. Ick, ick, ick!

Dumb as a Box of Rocks

I've never been mistaken for being a rocket scientist, but it's reassuring to know that I'm smarter than Sherri Shepherd, the co-host of The View.
