Access Hollywood and Entertainment Weekly are buzzing with news that British funnyman Ricky Gervais will be named as the host of the The 81st Annual Academy Awards. There's been no announcement as of yet from the Academy. The Oscars will air on Sunday February 22nd on ABC.
