Dumb as a Box of Rocks (or Stones)

By now everyone has heard Sharon Stone's comments on the Chinese earthquake tragedy. Stone now says she is "deeply sorry" for her comments in which she said the earthquake that killed hundreds of thousands of people might have been a result of "karma" due to the Chinese government's policy on Tibet. Is she sorry for what she said, or sorry because she's been dropped from Christian Dior advertisements in China. Or is it because her films have been banned from being shown in one of China's largest theater chains? Or is it because China's Xinhua News Agency said in a commentary that she is a "public enemy of all mankind?" Or is she as dumb as a box of rocks. You be the judge. But seriously, how would the average American feel if a Chinese actress had gone on television and said that Hurricane Katrina was a result of "karma" due to the Bush administration's policies?
