Dr. Phil's Staff Bailed Out Teen Accused of Florida Beating

Staff members of Dr. Phil McGraw's syndicated television show posted bail for one of the eight teenage girls charged with the videotaped beating of another teen girl. Mercades Nichols, charged in the beating in Florida, posted bond this weekend as the Dr. Phil show was in the process of booking guests for an episode about the case.

McGraw raised eyebrows earlier this year when he visited Britney Spears at the UCLA Medical Center while she was under a physician's care. McGraw was putting together a show about Spears, which was ultimately scrapped.
