Actress Beverlee McKinsey died in Los Angeles on May 2nd from complications due to a kidney transplant. Best known for her work in daytime television, Ms. McKinsey appeared on Broadway in the original production of Neil Simon's, Barefoot in the Park, and in the London production of Edward Albee's, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? But it was her work in NBC's Another World and Texas as Iris Carrington and later on CBS's Guiding Light as Alexandra Spaulding that gained Ms. McKinsey legions of fans.
