Nine more US troops were killed in Iraq since the last Real Hero Thursday. The most recent to be confirmed is Army Sgt Joseph M. Vanek, who was killed in Baghdad on November 12th when enemy forces attacked his unit. Joseph was from Elmhurt, Illinois. He was 22 years old.
