James Spears has been named temporary conservator of his daughter, Britney Spears. This puts him in control of her welfare while she remains in the UCLA Medical Center's Psychiatric Hospital. The court also named attorney Andrew Wallete as co-conservator of Britney's estate, along with James Spears. Sam Lufti, Britney's friend and occasional manager, was slapped with a restraining order keeping him away from Britney and her home.
