Super Bowl XLII: Historic After All

The New England Patriots didn't achieve a perfect season, but Super Bowl XLII will still go down in the history books - for being the highest rated Super Bowl telecast of all time. According to preliminary ratings, 97.5 million people tuned into FOX last night to watch the New York Giants beat the Pats. If the estimated ratings hold up when the national ratings are released tomorrow, Super Bowl XLII will go down in history as the second highest rated television program of all time (second only to the 1983 series finale of CBS's M*A*S*H).
